Eee PC Update

Got an update on the ASUS Eee PC.

Found a place locally that sells them. You can find them definitely at Best Buy, but only online for now. Not to mention the fact that they’re on back order. But hey, at least there’s a local place.

They come in either White or Black and I’ve got the specs on them for your perusing pleasure;

Very cool.

Overall, it's compact, portable, able to perform most quick functions easily, but doesn't have some of the beef if you want to do serious web browsing or gaming. But this isn't designed for that, it's designed for the person on the go or a backup device to take along on vacation or business trips. Fits easily in a briefcase or carry on bag and doesn't present much of a problem space wise on a plane or in a car or cab.

Wouldn't mind having one to play with, but think I'll wait and see if they come down in price a bit. Or if someone wants to bless me with one for Christmas I wouldn't mind. Or if ASUS would want to provide one for me to do a full workup on it I wouldn't mind this either.

Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
